The BTM Social Action Committee is helping JALSA, the Jewish Alliance for Law and Social Action, with a postcard campaign in support of the Location Shield Act in Massachusetts.
The Location Shield Act is designed to prevent unregulated data brokers from buying and selling personal location data from apps on our cell phones, revealing where we live, work, play, and more. This act will protect reproductive health access, LGBTQ lives, religious liberty, and freedom of movement by banning the sale of cell phone location information.
Each volunteer will fill out two postcards and send them to our state representatives, encouraging them to support the Location Shield Act.
Even if you filled out postcards for the last round in January, you can still participate in this second phase of the campaign.
To participate in this campaign and receive the postcards and instructions, please email Amy Siegel at by Monday, April 8, 2024.
