The JLCMW Experience
During our sacred time together at the Jewish Learning Collaborative of Metrowest (JLCMW), we strive to create a coherent Jewish experience for all of our students.
Each day, through hands-on learning, students interact with a wide variety of Jewish content, providing a cohesive and holistic background on a wide range of Jewish ideas and practices—that forms our core curricular pillars. Each pillar is explored, developed, and deepened through an integrated, age-appropriate curriculum with an emphasis on:
- Torah Study: Accessing the stories of our people through text study and the Torah Godly Play approach
- Authentic Experiences in Jewish Culture: Prayer opportunities, song, holiday celebrations – learning, doing, and creating personal meaning
- Hebrew Language: Building a vocabulary of living, active words, as well as familiarity with core Jewish concepts in Hebrew and building competency in decoding prayers and text
