To read the Torah portion before our class, the parsha is Vayishlach, in the book of Genesis/Bereshit. Genesis 32:4–36:43. <– This link will take you to a Hebrew + English version; by clicking on the A on the top right of the section, you can choose whether to see Hebrew, English, or both.
In the link above, I have chosen the translation by Everett Fox, as he designed his translation to capture the experience of reading the ancient Hebrew. If you’d like your own copy, his book is titled The Five Books of Moses.
Of course, you are free to read any translation you’d like, and there are copies of the Hebrew Bible in the sanctuary at B’nai Torah.
