Join Congregation B’nai Torah MetroWest and Cantor Kate Judd for Shabbat, Take a break from the news! Come experience the joy and rejuvenation of singing and praying in community! Join us for our warm, welcoming, tuneful service to greet Shabbat. This hour-long service will include songs and prayers from the Kabbalat Shabbat and the Arvit (Evening) service. Our hearts still turn toward Israel and the war in Gaza. We will offer special prayers and songs for the Israeli people, for the hostages, for the soldiers, and for peace in the region. Cantor Kate’s davar (sermon) will reflect on the power of music for us as Jews and as human beings. Now is the time to gather in solidarity and in hope, to restore our energy for the days ahead.
The service will take place in-person at Or Atid, 97 Concord Road, Wayland, and via Livestream.
