Most of us are thinking, worrying, praying, hoping, and having fears about Israel and the Middle East right now. Although we may be doing all that we can, we may feel powerless to affect the outcome of events.
Cantor Kate is putting her other Adult Education offerings on hold in order to make a space for us to share support in a respectful environment.
In this two-hour online program, we will take time to offer prayers, study some Israeli poetry and some Bible, and share with each other our personal feelings and concerns at this difficult and frightening time. Cantor Kate will facilitate the sharing. This is not a forum in which to persuade others of your point of view. Rather, it’s a chance for us to sit together in grief, to listen carefully, and to hold each other’s deep emotions.
The program will begin and end with song and prayer.
